SABAH HUMANITARIAN MISSION
SABAH, 23 OCTOBER 2016 - This program is organized by the Generation of Healthy Generation Secretariat (GENESIS) in collaboration with the Department of Student Affairs & Alumni (JHEPA), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Health Center and Ranau District Health Clinic. The program is run for 5 days from 23 October 2016 to 27 October 2016 at Kampung Malinsau, Ranau, Sabah. A total of 20 Universiti Malaysia Pahang students involved in the program.
This humanitarian mission was carried out as a sign of the concern of Universiti Malaysia Pahang to the livelihood and well-being of the poor in Sabah. The program has 3 health modules namely Education, Health and Development. Among the activities to be undertaken are tooth brushing, correct hand washing and balanced diet. Finally, a visit to Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) was also held for the Sharing Knowledge program. The visit is to share about GENESIS clubs with UMS and partnerships about GENESIS's annual activities.
