RAMADHAN TOUR IN ACHEH, INDONESIA
INDONESIA, 18-21 JUNE 2016 - The Asean Ramadhan Tour Program is a program organized by the Vice-Chancellor's Office, University Health Center, Student Affairs & Alumni Affairs Department and in collaboration with the Secretary Generation of Healthy Students (GENESIS) was held on 18 June until 21 June 2016. The program lasts for 4 days at Madrasah Dayah Nurul Huda, Acheh, Indonesia. A total of 15 delegates from the Genesis Secretariat students from both campuses, Gambang and Pekan Campus participated in the program.
This program is aimed at the significance of Universiti Malaysia Pahang's people towards the well-being and living conditions of the Indonesian Muslims. This program is a continuation of the program in the past to ensure the living standards and education of students and villagers are better. Therefore, on this mission was carried out by three modules, namely Module Ramadan. Education Modules, Health Modules and Development Modules. This is to debate with the community at Acheh about how the event adopts a healthy lifestyle to avoid self-inflicted disease attacks, whether infectious or non-communicable. This is because, in Acheh exposed to a very dirty environment. Madrasah Dayah Nurul Huda consists of children between 3 months and 18 years old.
